At LAFMS We Honor Gender Differences By Using Opposite Sex Co-Mediators
There are huge advantages in opposite gendered mediations by using a male/female co-mediation team. Men and women are hard-wired differently when dealing with conflict, and it would be silly and even inefficient to argue otherwise. Moreover, some parties fear conscious or unconscious gender bias on the part of a single mediator. A gender neutral approach to mediation is assured by employing co-mediators who are trained to work together in supporting the parties through the process.
